The KicKstart league also has the privilege of being able to provide your children with a summer league which starts after the season ends and finishes just before the school summer holidays. This allows all age groups to continue playing games for the duration of the school term giving them extra training and development time before they break for the holidays ready for the new season starting in September. Places will be limited, don't miss out.

 

This has always been very popular with the younger age groups especially those who are just starting out to get some valuable football game time under their belts. Applications will be open from January 15th and completed applications need to be received by the league by 15th April to guarantee acceptance. Apply online using the new online form portal. NO ENTRY FEE TO JOIN KICKSTART SUMMER FOOTBALL 2025    ( A £50 deposit is all that is required to reserve your place, this will be allocated towards your normal match fees for your final games) We will invoice you / your club on receipt of your completed application form.

 

NEXT SEASONS AGE GROUPS

Games will be played Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, you can advise your preferred playing day(s) on the application form and we will do our best to allocate accordingly, however we cannot guarantee your preferred day. Once your playing day has been agreed all of your games will be on the same day. Multiple days will be available in different groups should you wish to play more than one day.

PLACES ARE LIMITED AND ARE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.

Referees are provided for all games. As usual with Kickstart, pitches are all provided and set up and broken down for you. Respect barriers are on every pitch and site managers and administrators are available on site. Toilet facilities and refreshments / catering are available on every site. 

​

KicKStart Summer Football will run from THE FIRST WEEK OF JUNE TO MID JULY. This will provide 7 weeks of football in total finishing in time for the school summer holidays.

​

The age groups applying must be Under 7’s, 8’s, 9’s, 10’s, 11's, 12'S and 13’s as at 31st August 2026 in accordance with next Season 2026/27. For example; if you are an Under 7’s team this Season 2025/26 you become an Under 8’s team for KicKStart Summer Football 2026. This gives the new Under 7’s teams wishing to join us next Season a chance to gain some experience in preparation for the KicKStart Winter League that starts on in September.

Games will be played midweek (one game per week) on either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. 

​

Kick off times will vary but games will start no earlier than 6.00pm and finish no later than 8.30pm.

Please note that none of the age groups are permitted to play for points. Games will be ‘non result driven’ in accordance with FA Law.

The age groups available will be as follows using season 2026/27 age groups.

Match fees work out at approx £3.50 per player paid on the day.

(U7's & U8's & U9's)   £25.00 Per Game   

(U10's & U11's)  £35.00 Per Game

(U12's & U13's)  £45.00 Per Game

      The above match fees are payable for each match played and include the following:

         Pitch Hire, Pitch set up and break down, Match officials, Car parking,  League administration, On site Kickstart Manager & Kickstart Administrator.
