Referees are provided for each and every game at KicKstart venues. All referees are qualified referees trained by the local County FA and carry all necessary licences and certificates required to referee at

this level. KicKStart League now also provides linesmen for all 9v9 games!

Please note that some referees are still children themselves learning how to referee the game just as your children are learning to play the game. If you see a referee wearing the purple referees shirt, this means that they are U18 years of age. Please respect all referees as they are a very important part of grass roots football.

Kickstart as a league are continuing to invest in our referees, working with Notts FA and also with the Mansfield Society Of Referees, we are looking to continue to educate, monitor and mentor our young referees to ensure that they receive the best opportunities to keep them in the game for many more years to come, and continue to produce referees moving on to higher levels in the game. We will be offering local businesses the opportunity to sponsor our young referees this season in order to raise much needed additional funds required to provide them with the support they need.
